CAUTIONS

– Apply lightly a rust preventive agent for lead-acid storage batteries on connections of the storage battery.

–The permissible temperature range of battery use is -20~50ºC,but use at 5~30 ºC range is recommended for longer service.

– When 4 or more battery groups will be used in parallel connection, consult us prior to use.

– Mixed use of batteries with different capacities, different histories and from different manufacturers may cause damages to the batteries or the equipments.

– Do not open the cover or valve of the battery directly.

– To keep the battery in good condition, recharge the batteries which have not been used for over six months.

SAFETY ATTENTION

– Wipe the battery with water dampened cloth. Cleaning by dry cloth, particularly by chemical fiber cloth is NOT recommended, as it maybe caused danger from static electricity. NEVER use oil, gasoline, thinner or other petrochemical.

– A stored battery may generate ignitable gas, keep the stored battery in a ventilated environment, NEVER place the batteries near naked flame or short-circuit the battery.

– Do not disassemble the battery, as its strong acid electrolyte may burn your skin or clothes. If the battery is accidentally broken and electrolyte (sulfuric acid) leak out, wipe it up with a cloth.Neutralize the acid with some ready alkaline substance such as ammonia solution,or baking powder (sodium hydrogen carbonate). In the event electrolyte contact skin or eye, immediately flush with flooded water and consult a doctor.

– Do not incinerate batteries. It may burst if throw into fire. Arrange for proper return for recycling in your locality.

– One may get an electric shock if one touch an electrically conductive part. Be sure to wear rubber gloves before inspection or maintenance work..
